Cochranes of Oxford designs and manufactures over 90% of its stock at its UK production and distribution centre in Great Britain. You can be confident that you are purchasing good quality products, backed up by friendly, efficient customer service.

Stock level status

This website indicates stock availability for online orders and small trade orders.   We aim to carry sufficient stock for immediate despatch of small and medium sized on-line orders.

Due to the fast-moving and complex nature of our stock movements we do not show actual stock quantities on line. The table below shows the stock statuses that we use on this website and what they mean.

Stock Status Description	Meaning
In stock	These items are in stock and we will make more as required to meet demand.
In stock – at least XX available	We have at least the quantity shown available to despatch now and we will make more as required to meet demand. We use this status with our most frequently bought products to give you extra confidence in your purchase.
Out of stock - due in X weeks	We are currently out of stock and are working hard to make more. Please enquire for the latest lead time.
Made to order in 1-5 days	These items are made to order in a few days from materials that we hold in stock.
Not available on line - please contact us	Please contact us to confirm the size, colour or other information required before completing your purchase.
Limited stock	We have limited stock available of this item. Please contact us with your requirement if you want more than two packs.
Discontinued - please enquire for replacement	These items have been discontinued.  The product description may indicate a recommended alternative where available.

Large orders

We regularly supply trade suppliers, distributors, schools, universities and businesses with larger quantities.  Most of our products are made in our factory in the UK from materials that we hold in stock so we can make additional stock or customised product as required.  Please contact us for delivery times for specific enquiries or to set up an account.

The stock availability is updated daily.  Due to the fast-changing nature of stock levels, we do not aim to display current actual stock levels on our website.
